Review: First off, before I say anything else, I need to acknowledge the fact that I had read the book before I saw the movie. I think that I would have enjoyed the movie less—or at least not understood it as well—if I hadn’t. That said, I really liked it! Admittedly the story was rushed. Admittedly they changed a few things that bothered me. Admittedly, they cut off the ending, though I hear that is supposed to be at the beginning of the sequel. But even with those flaws, it was a really beautiful movie. The acting was good, the special effects were good, and the overall design of the movie was fantastic. I really hope it makes enough money to get them to do the sequels.
