marital status — I have been married twice, the first time to Rob (09/21/1991). Rob and I divorced after 15 years but remain very close friends. On 05/24/2009 I married Dan, who I met at a juggling convention two days after he graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (and a week after I graduated from college myself).

General Stuff
I have bipolar disorder, for which I took Paxil, 30 mg daily for over five years, and then Celexa. I now take Wellbutrin and it works much, much better. I have chronic insomnia problems which are probably related to being bipolar and exacerbated by the Wellbutrin. You can read the results of my sleep study here and my comments about it here . I have Tourette’s Syndrome which gives me some physical tics, primarily in the face, which I’ve learned to hide fairly well with facial expressions, fake sniffles/scratches/“something in my eye” and so on.
Favorites: cats, juggling, books, dark chocolate, iridescent, velvet, Star Trek (TNG, DS9 and Voyager too), dry humor, late night gingerbread lattes, good friends, nonsequeteurs, croissants, low-pile carpets, albums on vinyl, hollandaise sauce, clean-shaven men’s faces, Lubriderm® Oat Extract lotion (smells soooo good), Black Adder, hot cocoa, unassuming gifts of large sums of money…
