Dan's Graduation from Residency

I’m so proud of Dan! He’s almost done with residency! (9 days to go!) They had the graduation ceremony/handing out of diplomas the other day at butt-thirty in the morning; I assume they do it early because many/most residents are moving immediately after completion of their programs and it would be hard to get everyone together in one place after that. Independence Day on the DC Mall, 1999

Yesterday was Independence Day. We went into DC around 1:30 to see the fireworks. It was HOT. Very hot. It was 98 degrees, with a heat index around 105-110.
