Thought of the moment:

I have conflicting feelings about getting snow. I really want a massive snowstorm. I love those. The problem is that it would mean our driveway gets plowed a bunch of times, and it’s $35 each time. So do I hope for snow, feeling guilty that it will be expensive? Or do I hope for no snow, and feel sad about it? Not that it really matters, since what I hope for has no bearing on what actually happens.

Super Bowl--I survived!

I generally dislike...no, more like hate... sports. I have bad childhood memories associated with televised sports, and I've never had reason to care that I don't like them. Dan, however, while not a sports nut, does appreciate watching a game now and then. So for his sake, it would be nice if I could be able to sit down and watch one with him without flinching.

Day off

I have been so busy with doctor's appointments, physical therapy, etc. that it seems like I haven't had a day when I didn't have to get up to do something in a long time. That was mean!

So my three cats all get along really well--they sleep curled up together and groom each other and all that. They also like to play, which generally means chasing each other, wrestling, or slap-fights. Just now Cory and Pixie were wrestling, and Pixie was making a lot of noise and complaining. She is the smallest and Cory is the largest so it probably seems like getting picked on. Anyway, while Cory has her pinned down...

Physical Therapy

I've been going to physical therapy for my back for a couple of weeks now, along with a chiropractor. So far I can't tell any difference. In fact, when I left the chiropractor last time I had a pain in my back that I didn't have before I went in. No fair!

I'm being a patient patient, I hope, but if I don't see some results soon I don't know that I can continue...
